LD Systems DAVE 8 Roadie brings a complete active PA setup into a compact 2.1 system for mobile sound. The integrated 3-channel mixer accepts a dynamic microphone, instruments and playback sources, while the bandpass subwoofer and two satellites create a balanced mix for smaller events and performance spaces.
Cover the essentials from one setup
Three mixer channels can be used simultaneously, so different sources can stay connected as you work. One channel has an XLR/jack combo socket for a dynamic microphone. Another combines dual RCA connectors for a computer with an XLR/jack combo socket for a mixer or keyboard. The third offers selectable 3.5 mm stereo or 6.3 mm mono input for an MP3 player or guitar.
Bring weight to the mix
The 8″ bandpass subwoofer handles punchy bass reproduction, while each satellite combines two 4″ mid/high drivers with a 1″ tweeter in a d’Appolito arrangement. This layout is designed to keep frequency dispersion coherent, giving the 2.1 system a considered balance across bass, midrange and high frequencies.
Shape the balance at the system
A 3-band EQ offers High, Mid and Low adjustment for practical sound shaping, while the separate subwoofer volume control lets you balance bass against the mid/high frequencies. The 180° phase reverse switch adds another setup control, and the integrated limiter protects the speakers from overload.
