The JBL EON718S is an 18″ Inch PA Powered Subwoofer offering 1500W Max. It is part of the JBL’s EON700 Series of powered PA Speakers. It brings professional-grade and unprecedented versatility to portable systems for live sound and fixed installation applications. The EON718S also offers class-leading volume and clarity with comprehensive features that make setup and operation a breeze.
Rear Panel Connections and Performance
The rear panel offers 2x XLR/ 1/4″ Combo Jacks for both channels 1 and 2. It also includes 2x XLR Male Loop Thru Jacks again for channels 1 and 2. Aside from the power button, there is a Colour backlit LCD screen that provides easy access to functions with the Main/Menu Navigation button. With an 18″ Inch Woofer the EON718S will provide you with 1500W Peak Power or 750W RMS.
It will also produce a Max SLP of 131dB with Frequency Responses at; 31Hz – 150Hz (-10) or 40Hz -120Hz (-3). It features a built-in 2-channel digital mixer and offers an Advanced dbx DSP with Parametric EQ, polarity inversion and speaker delay options. For additional versatility, it also supports the Universal JBL Pro Connect app control for wireless operations.
What you would expect from JBL
The JBL EON718S features two ergonomic handles so it simplifies the process of transporting and maneuvering the subwoofer. The build quality is as you would expect from JBL and offer a sturdy durable birch plywood cabinet with duraflex paint and metal grille. Finally, as part of the EON700 Series, it offers a built-in threaded pole mount so you can bring the system together.
