Focusrite RedNet X2P
The Focusrite RedNet X2P gives you a compact and portable 2×2 Dante Audio Interface. Boasting 2 Red Evolution mic pres, stereo line out, and a stereo headphone amplifier; the RedNet X2P allows you to easily add a high-quality Dante audio interface to your setup. Integrating power, audio, clock, and remote control over a single Ethernet cable; simply using a power over Ethernet switch or PoE injector. There’s also a local input mixer that allows ‘more me’ monitoring control. While a control lockout mode ensures settings can’t be changed when you’re using it remotely.
Furthermore, on the rear panel of the RedNet X2P, you’ll find XLR outputs that offer level-controlled analog outputs of up to 24dBu. While a front-panel 1/4″ connector gives you a high-powered headphone output that’s capable of powering both high and low impedance headphones. There’s also a pair of combination XLR/1/4″ inputs that allow you to connect mics, line, or instrument signals to the preamps. These preamps also include Focusrite’s acclaimed Air mode that emulates the sound of classic input transformers.
Finally, on the top panel of your RedNet X2P, you’ll find a number of different controls including; output level for headphone and line outputs; mic pre controls of gain; high-pass filter; Air; phase invert; phantom power; and stereo linking. Not to mention a crossfader that allows you to balance the mic pre inputs and network receiver channels which are then sent to the headphone or line outputs.
