Firstly, the Mutant Snare uses dual bridged-t analog sinewave oscillators that provide a warm and organic base sound reminiscent of the famous 808 snare. The TONE control allows smooth blending between two sinewaves of different frequencies. Thus, giving you a broad palette of sounds. You can also tune one sine wave with the SHELL PITCH control to precisely set the snare’s pitch.
Dynamic Noise and Filters for Unique Textures

Voltage control extends to SNAPPY decay and filter cutoff frequency, complete with bipolar attenuators (attenuverters) on the CV inputs for fine modulation adjustments.
