ENTTEC DMX USB Pro Bi-Directional USB DMX Interface
The ENTTEC DMX USB Pro connects to your computer via a robust USB Type-B 2.0 connector, giving compatible lighting software a reliable way to send or receive DMX/RDM data on macOS, Windows or Linux computers. It suits lighting programmers, venues, installers, theatres and live event setups that need dependable computer-based DMX control.
The DMX USB Pro uses industry-standard 5-pin XLR connectors and 1500V full isolation on both data and power lines, helping protect your computer from stray voltages on the DMX line. In addition, its internal frame buffer supports consistent DMX generation when outputting, so timing is not dependent on your computer’s processor.
The DMX USB Pro is supported by a broad range of third-party light controllers and lighting software workflows. It also allows developers to integrate it into custom software projects using ENTTEC’s developer API.
Use ENTTEC’s free EMU software to test the interface, update firmware and configure settings before it goes into a show or install. You can also change the firmware to suit your requirements, including RDM or non-RDM operation. Keep in mind, this unit is designed as a computer-connected DMX interface, not a standalone playback controller.
