Chamsys MQ50 MagicQ Compact Console
Chamsys MagicQ MQ50 puts hands-on lighting control into a compact console for small to medium sized venues. Its 10.1″ multi-touch display, ten cue-stack playbacks and 8 universes make it straightforward to run shows. Meanwhile, built-in WiFi provides a quick connection to the MagicQ Remote App without external networking hardware.
Touch control that stays clear
The high resolution 10.1″ HD multi-touch display gives operators a direct way to navigate the console and reach lighting controls. Ten playbacks, a Grand Master Fader, a Crossfade Master Fader and eight Attribute Encoders keep key show functions close at hand, so cue changes and adjustments remain organised during operation.
Connect your lighting network
Eight universes are available directly from the console via Artnet/sACN/Pathport, alongside four direct DMX outputs. RDM support works through the direct DMX ports and network, while one network port handles the console’s network connections. Together, these options suit installations, clubs, schools and venue lighting setups.
Quiet operation for venue work
Silent operation makes the MQ50 a sensible choice for theatres and other spaces where console noise should stay out of the room. Built-in WiFi connects to the MagicQ Remote App, and HDMI output supports an external monitor up to 1920×1200 resolution when a larger viewing area is useful.
Built for detailed show control
The console supports up to 4096 DMX channels and 4096 fixtures, with capacity for 5000 cues, 2000 cue stacks, 5000 groups and 4096 palettes. It also supports 50 media server layers, each with different content, and uses the same software and show formats across the MagicQ range.
