Chamsys MediaMaster VS1+ Media Server
Chamsys MediaMaster VS1+ puts 4K video playback, mapping tools and MediaMaster Pro software into a compact media server for professional visual control. Its lightweight 1.28 kg construction suits touring operators, VJs and DJs. Meanwhile, the stated three-unit 1U rack-footprint arrangement makes efficient use of rack space.
4K Playback in a Compact Format
Firstly, a 4K HDMI media output handles the server’s listed 4K video output. On the other hand, a separate HDMI 2K interface output is also provided. At 143mm wide, 195mm deep and 43mm high, the unit is sized for compact installations. Three units fit into a 1U rack footprint.
Tools for Mapping and Playback
Moreover, MediaMaster Pro software is paired with LED Mapper and Video Mapper, alongside Soft Edge / Geometric Correction. The system lists 48 playback layers, 250 surfaces, one output and 4096 presets. Thus, giving operators clearly defined playback and preset capacity for their visual setups.
Network and Control Options
Additionally, NDI®5, Art-Net, sACN, CITP/MSEX and GDTF Personality Export are listed alongside King Net Mapper. For physical connections, the server has one front USB 3.0 A Type, two rear USB 3.0 A Type ports. Also, two rear USB-C ports and one 2,5 GB/s Ethernet output.

With an Intel i7, 2.8 GHz processor, 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz SODIMM RAM, Intel Integrated Graphics and a 500GB SSD, the VS1+ has a clearly specified hardware platform for its MediaMaster Pro software. Windows 11 Pro is installed, and power input accepts powerCON TRUE1 110 to 240 VAC.
