Chamsys MediaMaster VisionSC-SDI4 (4 x SDI)
Add four 3G-SDI video inputs to a MediaMaster VS2+ or VS4+ media server running MediaMaster software with the Chamsys VisionSC-SDI4. Its PCIe x8 design combines flexible video-mode support, user-defined update rates, and multi-buffered capture for handling multiple SDI sources in one card.
Bring Four SDI Sources Together
Firstly, four BNC/SDI inputs give the card room for multiple high-definition SDI video signals at the same time. Each channel offers 2.97 Gbps capture bandwidth, with capture support for 1920x1080p at 60 frames per second per input. That makes it easier to bring several sources into a compatible MediaMaster server.
Match the Incoming Signal
Moreover, user-defined update rates let the captured frame rate match the source. That is, provided the specified maximum data rate is not exceeded. The card supports video modes from 480i and 576i through 720p, 1080i, 1080p, 1080psF, and 2048 x 1080 formats. Therefore, giving operators practical flexibility across different signals.
Keep Capture Frames Clean
Multi-buffered capture helps eliminate tearing artefacts, keeping incoming video frames more consistent as sources are captured. RGB and YUV sample formats are supported, including RGB 4:4:4 (+A), YUV 4:2:2 (+A), and YUV 4:4:4 (+A), while 768 MB of frame buffer memory stores captured frame data.
Built for a PCIe Installation
The VisionSC-SDI4 connects to a motherboard through PCIe x8 and includes one VS4+ Rear Panel Adapter Plate. Its supported frame rates include 23-98Hz, 24Hz, 25Hz, 29-97Hz, 30Hz, 50Hz, 59-94Hz and 60Hz, alongside a wide set of SMPTE standards for SDI video handling.
