ChamSys MediaMaster Vision-SDI2 Card (2 x SDI)
Built for MediaMaster video processing, the Vision-SDI2 Card brings SDI connectivity to a PCIe expansion card format. Its four BNC/SDI input and output connectors, flexible capture resolutions and source-matched update rate suit production setups using ChamSys MediaMaster 25, the upgraded successor to MediaMaster 6.
Connect SDI Sources and Outputs
Four BNC/SDI connectors are provided for inputs and outputs. Therefore, giving the card the physical connections specified for SDI video work. The PCIe x8 motherboard connection keeps the card suited to installation as an expansion component. Meanwhile, the included VS4+ Rear Panel Adapter Plate is supplied with the card.
Match the Source Frame Rate
Moreover, the update rate is user defined, with the captured frame rate matching the source. Supported rates include 23-98Hz, 24Hz, 25Hz, 29-97Hz, 30Hz, 50Hz, 59-94Hz and 60Hz. This lets the capture settings follow the frame-rate options specified for the incoming video.
Capture Detailed Video
Capture up to 2x 2048×1556 at 24fps or 2x 1920×1080 at 60fps, with a maximum SDI bitrate of 3Gb/s. RGB, YUV and MONO sample formats are supported, giving MediaMaster video processing a choice of formats for different signal requirements.
Keep Processing Resources Ready
Frame buffer memory is specified at 64 MB per channel, with 128 MB total. Together with the card’s supported sample formats and capture resolutions, this gives production teams clearly defined video-processing capacity when planning a MediaMaster setup.
