Chamsys MagicQ Rack brings the MagicQ software environment into a compact, installation-ready format. Enjoy 24 universes of DMX output, inbuilt Wi-Fi, two RDM-enabled 5-pin DMX outputs and dedicated 10Scene connections.
Designed for installed control
Built for installations and architectural settings, the 19-inch 1U unit can be used as a desktop box or rack mounted with the supplied rack ears. Its ten buttons activate Playbacks and Executes. Meanwhile, four 10Scene ports connect up to forty 10Scene wall plates for straightforward installed control.
Room to grow with your system
Moreover, the console supports 24 universes directly and can expand to 48 via licence upgrade. Two RDM-enabled 5-pin DMX outputs support connection to lighting equipment, while RDM Autopatch is available for fast show patching. That gives larger lighting systems a clear path for expansion as requirements develop.
MagicQ control without a physical console
MagicQ Rack uses the same software as MagicQ Consoles and is designed to operate without physical user control. Inbuilt Wi-Fi supports programming and remote control, while scheduled events, OSC, UDP and MIDI control are supported for installations that need more than local button activation.
Tools for detailed lighting programming
Advanced programming tools include a built-in FX generator, colour picker and Gel inbuilt Gel library, plus support for up to 50 media server layers with each different content. The fixture library of over 48,000 fixture files also gives programmers a broad selection when preparing lighting shows.
