ChamSys MagicQ Compact Connect USB Lighting/Media Control Surface
ChamSys MagicQ Compact Connect brings hands-on control to lighting, media, and LED work without taking over your setup. Its lightweight USB design pairs with MagicQ software on Windows, macOS, or Linux, while direct DMX, network output, and tactile playback controls keep key show functions close at hand.
Hands-On Playback Control
Ten playback faders give you a direct way to run live show elements, with Flash, Go, and Select buttons for quick access during operation. A dedicated Grand Master and Crossfader add overall level control, while eight rotary encoders provide illuminated access to fixture parameters when you need focused adjustments.
DMX and Network Output
Two 5-pin XLR DMX outputs support RDM for direct connection to lighting equipment. The network port can transmit up to 64 universes of ArtNet and sACN, with no extra licenses or dongles required for that stated capacity. This gives touring productions and installed venues a practical path from software programming to show output.
Connections for a Broader Setup
An internal USB hub adds four USB-A outputs alongside the USB-C input. The surface also includes a 3.5 mm line input, MIDI input and output, a 10Scene input, and a working light socket, giving operators useful connection points for control and operation around theatres, schools, clubs, studios, and other venues.
Ready for Mobile or Installed Use
At 522 x 230 x 65 mm and 3.65 kg, the black surface is compact enough for touring and compliant with hand luggage restrictions. Plug-in power is included, with an AC input range of 110 to 240 VAC at 50 / 60 Hz. A Kensington Security Lock is also provided for added physical security in fixed installations.
