Chamsys GN10R GeNetix Multipurpose Node
Remote lighting data distribution becomes far more flexible with the GN10R. Its 10 configurable RDM DMX ports, dual network ports and support for Art-Net and sACN suit a range of setups. Meanwhile, LTC and MIDI connections extend timecode and control away from the console.
Flexible DMX Distribution
Each of the 10 RDM DMX ports uses an RJ45 connector and can be configured as a DMX input or output. Configurable DMX timings, plus support for Art-Net, sACN and RDM, let the node adapt to different lighting network requirements. All without locking every port into one fixed role.
Control Beyond the Console
Moreover, LTC and MIDI ports send Timecode and MIDI notes over Ethernet to MagicQ systems. Art-Net timecode supports systems that use that protocol. Thus, this makes the GN10R useful when the Timecode or MIDI source is positioned away from the lighting console.
Configure It Your Way
Additionally, configuration is available from ChamSys consoles, QuickQ consoles, the built-in web server, or the in-built display and encoder. Scenes can be recalled via UDP commands. Also, the node supports storage of 10 Scenes recorded from incoming Art-Net or sACN data.
Ready for Permanent Installations
Furthermore, two network ports allow PoE input through Port 1 or mains power through the Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 input. The interface can stand alone, mount to a rig via its M12 receiver, or fit into a rack with its rack ears. Therefore, giving installers practical placement options.
