Chamsys GeNetix GS5D 5-Port DIN Rail Mountable Unmanaged Network Switch
The Chamsys GeNetix GS5D is a compact way to distribute network data while adding PoE capability to a DIN rail installation. Its five-port unmanaged Gigabit design keeps operation straightforward, while flexible powering via PoE or an external 12–48V supply suits different system requirements.
Simple Gigabit Network Distribution
With five network ports and Gigabit Ethernet, the GS5D provides a clear connection point for compatible network devices. As an unmanaged switch, it keeps the setup uncomplicated, with no configuration interface required for basic network distribution. That makes it a practical choice when straightforward connectivity is the priority.
PoE Output When Required
Ports 2–5 support PoE 802.3af and 802.3at in Modes A and B. When the switch is powered by a 48V external power supply, each of these four ports can provide 30W of PoE output, with a maximum combined output of 60W. This allows network and power distribution through supported connections.
Flexible Powering
The switch can be powered via PoE or through an external 12–48V power supply, purchased separately. This gives installers a choice of power method based on the network arrangement. The external supply option also enables the stated PoE output, while status LEDs show external power and port activity at a glance.
Ready for DIN Rail Installation
DIN rail mounting keeps the unit positioned neatly within compatible equipment layouts. The supplied DIN Rail Mount Clip supports that installation approach, while the front-panel status LEDs indicate whether network or PoE ports are connected and active, and whether the network is running at Gigabit speed.
