Chamsys GeNetix GD4D DIN Rail Mountable 4-Port DMX Splitter
Chamsys GeNetix GD4D keeps DMX distribution organised in permanent installations. It has four terminal-based outputs ready to route control data where it is needed. RDM support, a DMX In and Through option, and DIN rail mounting create a practical, installation-focused splitter for structured lighting systems.
Four Clear DMX Routes
Firstly, Phoenix screw terminal connections provide four DMX output ports. Meanwhile, DMX In and Through connections keep the incoming signal path straightforward. This layout makes it easier to distribute one DMX feed across multiple runs from a fixed installation point. Also, terminal block wiring suited to an installation-based setup.
Control RDM and Signal Timing
The splitter is RDM E1.20 compliant and includes an RDM Disable/Enable option. When RDM needs to be removed, the disable setting strips RDM data and retimes the DMX signal, giving installers a direct way to manage how control data is passed through the system.
Built for Fixed Installation
DIN rail mounting keeps the unit positioned neatly inside compatible installation hardware, while the supplied DIN Rail Mount Clip supports that mounting arrangement. Its compact DIN dimensions are 104mm wide, 87mm deep and 65mm high including the clip, making the physical layout easy to plan.
External Power and Status Checks
Power comes from an external 12–48V power supply, purchased separately, and PoE output is available when powered by a 48v external power supply. LEDs show external power, RDM status, and DMX input and output activity, so key operating conditions can be checked at a glance.
