Behringer UB-Xa Mini Analog Polyphonic Synthesizer
Bring hands-on analogue synthesis into a compact setup with the UB-Xa Mini. Its pure analogue signal path, three VCOs and 27 touch-sensitive keys give sound design a direct, playable feel. Meanwhile, the motion sequencer and broad selection of playing modes make it easy to explore evolving parts.
Authentic Analogue Sound Design
Firstly, the signal path uses VCO, VCF and VCA designs based on authentic 1980s OB-Xa circuitry. Three separate oscillators offer sawtooth and square waveforms. Therefore, giving you a solid starting point for shaping analogue tones. The selectable 12/24 dB low-pass filter adds adjustable resonance for more control over the character of each sound.
Play Expressively by Hand
Moreover, its 27 touch-sensitive keys make the compact instrument more engaging to play. Whether you are sketching a sequence or building a part from scratch! Poly, Unison, Octaves, Fifths, Ring Unison and Ring Poly modes change how the keys behave, opening up different ways to perform the same patch.
Move Beyond Static Patches
The 16-step motion sequencer records controller movements and stores them in 10 memory slots, so knob changes can become part of the performance. An LFO with sawtooth, square and sine waveforms can be synced for pitch, filter cutoff and pulse width modulation, adding movement as you shape a sound.
Compact Connections for a Flexible Setup
Built-in MIDI input uses a 3-pin DIN connection, while USB-C handles power, MIDI and firmware updates. A 3.5 mm mini-jack sync input/output makes timing connections straightforward, and the stereo headphone output gives you a direct way to monitor while working with the synthesizer.
