Antelope Audio Discrete 8 Oryx Synergy Core Audio Interface
The Antelope Audio Discrete 8 Oryx Synergy Core condenses world-renowned clocking. Pristine conversion and powerful real-time processing into a single rack-unit that can transform any studio. It unites uncompromising audio fidelity with the routing freedom and DSP muscle required by modern hybrid workflows.
Pristine Conversion & Clocking
At its core, the Discrete 8 Oryx employs next-generation AD/DA converters offering up to 130 dB headroom. Moreover, paired with Antelope’s fourth-generation 64-bit AFC™ clocking. Consequently, a wider stereo image, deeper low-end and detail that transcends the raw specs of the converter chips is achieved.
Console-Grade Preamps & Expansive I/O
Eight discrete Class-A microphone preamps—each built from six transistors—provide 75 dB of gain and an ultra-low noise floor reminiscent of legendary analog consoles. The interface becomes the versatile heart of any hybrid rig. This is due to 26×38 simultaneous connectivity which includes DC-coupled line outs, USB-C, ADAT, S/PDIF, reamp and dedicated monitor outputs.
Real-Time Synergy Core Processing
Additionally, equipped with 2 DSPs and 1 FPGA, the Synergy Core platform runs 37 included analog-modeled effects. Craft polished vocal chains, track through punchy compressors or rich reverbs. Also, free up native CPU power—whether you’re recording, mixing or performing live.
Headphone Innovation & Intuitive Control
Four independent headphone outs feature the exclusive X-Feed system that recreates speaker-like crossfeed for fatigue-free sessions, plus calibration profiles and two-band EQ. A redesigned software control panel offers drag-and-drop routing, four low-latency mixers and total command of every analog and digital path.
