Following this, Moog released the first compact analog synth with the MiniMoog. It was the first Moog Synthesizer sold in retail stores and became a much more affordable and portable option. Going on to sell over 12,000 units. Selling over 12,000 units, the MiniMoog synth was a hit. With big names such as Pink Floyd, Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock just a few musicians to regularly use Moog Synths.
Today, the traditional Minimoog has been updated in the form of the MiniMoog Voyager. While 2018 saw the release of their latest flagship synthesizer, the Moog One. A Tri-Timbral, Polyphonic, Analog Synthesizer.
