Founded in 1945, just weeks after the end of World War II, by Fritz Sennheiser and seven fellow engineers. Sennheiser began by producing microphones such as the DM1 and DM2. By 1955, Sennheiser had grown to over 200 employees, widening production to include transformers, mixers, and headphones. Before 1968 when we saw the release of the flagship HD 414. A set of headphones that would then go on to be the best selling headphones of all time, with over 10 million units. Pushing the Sennheiser name to the forefront of the audio industry, where they haven't left since!
