The SoundSwitch Control One is a Dual Universe DMX Interface Controller. It offers the ability to level up your next DJ set with synchronised lights and on-the-fly lighting effects. If you are a DJ looking to incorporate automated lighting into your live performances, the SoundSwitch Control One is a formidable solution. With a compact form factor and rich set of features, it also provides extensive connectivity with DJ and DAW applications. As a result, it’s the first lighting controller designed for DJs and performers.
The Control One is a familiar and initiative controller that makes programming automated lighting a fun experience. It is compatible with most DJ platforms such as; Engine DJ, Serato DJ, and Virtual DJ and makes it easy to integrate into existing DJ setups. Additionally, musicians and performers can automate synchronised light shows and add live lighting effects using Ableton Link or manually tapping in the BPM on Control One.
Automated but Fully Customisable
SoundSwitch software delivers dynamic light shows with a single click. You can choose from dozens of light show presets based on genre or mood. Furthermore, it is a Plug-and-Play unit for Engine DJ Hardware (Engine Lighting); and you can easily customise the result to your liking. When it’s time to perform, Control One offers customisable RGB performance pads, parameter knobs, and a touch strip to create the perfect ambience for any event or venue.
As you’d expect, Control One provides tactile control over all SoundSwitch performance features. Effortlessly trigger colour and position overrides, cycle between banks of automated light shows (Autoloops), set an elegant ambience with a subtle Static Look, and when the moment calls, engage the Strobe to add an energised visual effect to complement the build-up of your performance.
Prefer performing without a computer? Control One is plug and plays compatible with Engine DJ hardware running Engine DJ v2.0 or higher. Simply connect Control One to an available USB port on the Engine DJ hardware. Once connected, you’ll have full standalone control over the entire performance environment, music, and lights.
