Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10 Professional 4-Channel DJ Controller for rekordbox, Serato DJ Pro and djay Pro (Black)
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10 is a professional 4-channel DJ controller for rekordbox, Serato DJ Pro and djay Pro. The new feature of the FLX10 is the dedicated STEMS Track Separation controls, which let you separate vocals, drums and instruments in real time and makes it easier to create live mashups, remixes and transitions on the fly!
Create Live Mashups with STEMS Track Separation
Load a regular track from your music library and independently control its vocals, drums and instruments, including bass and synths elements. The FLX10 now has dedicated colour-coded controls that provide a clear view of the parts currently playing.
The DDJ-FLX10 also provides three main STEMS controls:
- Active Part and Part ISO: Mute, solo or independently adjust the volume of the vocals, drums and instruments.
- FX Part Select: Apply Beat FX or Sound Colour FX to selected parts of a track instead of processing the entire song.
- Part Instant Doubles: Isolate one part of a track and transfer it to another deck for further mixing and manipulation.
Expanded On Jog Displays
Keep essential performance information in view using the displays built into the jog wheels. Additionally, you can monitor waveforms, track artwork, deck information, Mix Point Link data, vocal positions and Performance Pad status without constantly looking back at your computer.
Four display modes are available:
- Deck Info Mode: Displays deck information and the overall waveform. When using Serato DJ Pro, it displays the Serato virtual deck.
- Waveform Mode: Shows zoomed waveforms for two decks. Three-band waveforms are available with rekordbox.
- Artwork Display: Shows the artwork for the track currently playing.
- DJ Logo Display: Displays your own logo or selected image after transferring it with the Image Transfer Tool for PC or Mac.
Mix Point Link for Seamless Transitions
Mix Point Link in rekordbox lets you connect predetermined points in two tracks. For example, you can automatically start the melody of your next song as the vocal in the current track ends. This helps avoid clashing musical parts and removes the need to count down or press play manually, leaving your hands free to work with effects, EQ and STEMS controls.
Control a DMX Lighting Setup from Rekordbox
Connect compatible lighting equipment directly to the DDJ-FLX10’s DMX output without requiring a separate DMX interface. With the rekordbox Lighting function, you can create custom lighting sequences or have the colour and brightness of your lights respond automatically to the music. Lighting responses can also be triggered manually from the controller’s Performance Pads.
Four-Sensor MAGVEL FADER
The DDJ-FLX10 improves on the 2-sensor crossfader system used by the DDJ-1000 with a precise 4-sensor MAGVEL FADER. It detects smaller movements for more accurate level adjustment and responsive scratching.
Rekordbox, Serato DJ Pro and djay Pro Compatibility
The DDJ-FLX10 offers plug-and-play control of rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro. DVS support is available through selected rekordbox subscription plans or a paid Serato DJ Expansion or Serato DJ Suite licence.
With firmware version 1.14 or later, the controller also supports djay Pro for Mac and Windows. Its jog wheels, Performance Pads, knobs and faders integrate with the software, while the Active Stem buttons and EQ controls can operate djay Pro’s Neural Mix functions.
Please note: A paid djay Pro subscription is required. Neural Mix track separation is unavailable when playing tracks from Apple Music. Install the latest DDJ-FLX10 firmware and the latest compatible version of djay Pro before use.
Multicoloured Jog Rings
The multicoloured jog rings can identify the STEMS parts currently playing or display colours selected to suit your preferred setup. This provides an immediate visual reference when separating and manipulating different elements of a track.
Performance Pads and Professional Controls
Eight backlit Performance Pads on each deck provide direct access to Hot Cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump and the Sampler. Additional pad modes are available depending on the DJ software in use. The controller also includes familiar deck controls, a DJM-style Beat FX section and a full 4-channel mixer for working with software decks or compatible external audio sources.
Dual USB-C Connections
Two USB-C computer ports support professional DJ changeovers and setups involving two connected computers. The DDJ-FLX10 also includes Pioneer DJ’s Firmware Update Manager, which can notify you when compatible firmware updates become available.
Included Pitch ’n Time DJ Expansion
A voucher for the Serato Pitch ’n Time DJ Expansion Pack is included. This provides high-quality key shifting and key syncing for creating more harmonically compatible transitions in Serato DJ Pro.
