Moog Subsequent 25

The Moog Subsequent 25 is a compact, paraphonic analog synthesizer that builds on the legacy of the Sub Phatty. Giving you twice the headroom, Duo Mode, real wood side panels, and much more; Subsequent 25 well and truly sets a new standard for compact analog synthesizers!

A serious performers’ synthesizer

Featuring a silky, 25-key keybed with enhanced playability, a high-powered headphone amplifier, and analog signal paths; the Subsequent 25 will significantly expand your sonic palette. Whether you’re looking for pumping basses, lashing leads, or smooth pads. Subsequent 25 is a serious performers synthesizer, giving you hands-on control to inject serious sounds into your live keyboard performances. All in all, Moog Subsequent 25 is an irresistible analog synth, delivering the classic fat and punch Moog sound. As well as real-time tweak-ability, and a lovely, custom chassis with wooden side panels.

Enhanced analog signal path

Not only does the Moog Subsequent 25 have the flexibility of CV (Control Voltage) and audio inputs. You also get an enhanced analog signal path, for a broader range of sounds. Including the re-tuned Multidrive circuit that lets you crank the gain up even further. So you can blast through a track more aggressively than the polite growl you’d find on the Sub Phatty. Subsequent 25 mixer also has double the headroom, so you can access a new range of classic tones. While the Ladder Filter gain staging works to boost harmonic saturation and signal compression for in-your-face bass that’s sure to make you shake!

Duo Mode

Duo Mode is essentially Moog’s two-note paraphonic mode. Allowing each of the two oscillators to play a different note, all while sharing the same audio path. You can hold a bass drone note while playing a lead over it, play in intervals, and create other musical textures and effects. All things that just cant be done with a monophonic synthesizer.

Subsequent 25 – Designed for hands-on control

Finally, with 25 keys and a range of knobs, the Moog Subsequent 25 is made to be manipulated. Sporting dedicated controls that make it easier than ever to shape your sounds while you’re performing. While the extra-large filter cutoff knob is easy to find with your hands when your eyes are focused on the performance. Above all, you can easily spend countless hours tweaking ad creating new sounds. All without having to perform tedious menu diving to get to where you want!
