Mix Microphones, Instruments and Music
The built-in 3-channel mixer has 2 main channels for microphones or instruments, while channel 3 lets you play music over Bluetooth or connect a compatible wired audio source.
The first two channels give quick access to volume, treble, bass and reverb, but you can also choose ToneMatch presets for quick tuning.
Add Wireless Microphone or Instrument Control
The built-in wireless receivers make it easy to pair a wireless mic for presentations. The optional* Bose XLR wireless microphone and line transmitter or Bose 1/4-inch wireless instrument transmitter can connect directly with Channel 1 or 2.
You can store the transmitters* inside the speaker when they are not being used, creating a tidy portable wireless PA setup for vocals, speeches or instruments without needing a separate wireless receiver.
Battery-Powered Portable Sound
The included rechargeable battery offers up to 11 hours* of play time. It takes approximately five hours to recharge from zero to full charge. An integrated carry handle and portable 6.5 kg design also make the speaker manageable for regular transport between rehearsals, venues and events.
Four Setup Positions with Auto EQ
Set the S1 Pro+ vertically on a table, tilt it back on the floor, use it horizontally as a stage monitor or mount it on a speaker stand (sold separately)! Auto EQ will detect the speaker’s position and adjust its response to suit the orientation, so you can adapt the speaker to different spaces. Use the tilted-back position for close-range performance monitoring, tabletop position for presentations or mount it on a stand for wider audience coverage, such as below.
Adjust Your Mix from the Bose App
Use the Bose app to adjust settings from across the room or stage. You can control the mixer, access the ToneMatch preset library and manage Bluetooth connections without walking back to the speaker after every change.
The app is handy for remote usage, but not mandatory for normal operation.
Connect Another Speaker or Expand Your PA
A balanced XLR line output lets you connect to another powered speaker or a larger PA system. One S1 Pro+ combines its connected sources through a single speaker, so if you need wider two-speaker coverage or true stereo playback, use a second compatible Bose system.
For larger crowds, louder rooms or bass-heavy music, a bigger PA or compatible subwoofer may be the better choice. The S1 Pro+ is at its best when portability, fast setup and clear sound matter more than maximum output.
