Vinyl Records: Disclosure – Caracal 10th Anniversary Zoetrope Edition 2LP
Disclosure’s Caracal returns as a 10th Anniversary Zoetrope Edition, pairing the album’s smoother, R&B-influenced direction with a two-record presentation. The gatefold die-cut sleeve and animated artwork across the spinning discs give this special pressing a visual identity that complements the music.
A Different Side of Disclosure
Following Settle, Caracal expanded Disclosure’s sound with a smoother, more R&B-influenced approach. Across 14 tracks, the release moves through songs including “Nocturnal”, “Omen”, “Holding on”, “Magnets” and “Jaded”. All in all, offering a focused vinyl presentation of this chapter in the duo’s catalogue.
Zoetrope Artwork in Motion
The Zoetrope design brings movement to the records as they spin. Each side draws on the original album artwork and campaign poster, featuring the caracal cat alongside illustrations of the featured vocalists. The visual effect gives the listening experience an added point of interest without changing the record’s straightforward format.
Gatefold Presentation
A gatefold die-cut sleeve houses the 2LP pressing and gives the edition a considered physical presentation. The sleeve design works with the artwork on the discs, while the two-record layout gives the complete track list room across LP1 and LP2.
Tracklist Across Two Records
LP1 includes “Nocturnal”, “Omen”, “Holding on”, “Hourglass”, “Willing & Able”, “Magnets” and “Jaded”. LP2 continues with “Good Intentions”, “Superego”, “Echoes”, “Masterpiece”, “Molecules”, “Moving Mountains” and “Afterthought”, completing the 14-track release.
