Skytec SPL 2000MP3 – 2000W Two Channel (2x 1000W) Power Amplifier with MP3
The Skytec SPL 2000MP3 is a Two-Channel 1000W Power Amplifier with a built-in MP3 player. It offers (6x) RCA (phono) sockets so you can connect up to 3x devices such as a television, CD/DVD player and a laptop using the RCA Input. For additional versatility, there is also a 3.5mm jack on the front of the unit. Here you can connect a device such as a mobile phone. Furthermore, the amplifier includes a USB port, SD slot and ships with a handy Remote control.
The SPL 2000MP3 is 19″ rack-mountable and features a modern blue LED illuminated front panel. This versatile amplifier allows you to power your Home Theatre Equipment at (2x 1000W 4Ω Stereo) or (2x 750W 8Ω Stereo). This makes the SPL 2000MP3 ideal for home use, parties, bars, cafes, on stage and in the studio.
Front Operation
The front panel of the SPL 2000MP3 provides essential control and feedback on the performance of the amplifier. Aside from the Power Switch and Power on/off indicator, there are two independent Volume Controls for each of the two output channels. Each of the two channels includes a Peak and Signal indicator so you can monitor the signal performance. The 3.5mm Aux Input offers a convenient MP3 input from a source such as a phone. Above the input is an Input Selector where you can choose a channel that corresponds to the RCA input – (PC – MP3 – TV – CD).
Connectivity
On the rear panel, you will find the Mains Input power & a Fuse Holder. The input section also includes Inputs for Channel A & B with an option for 3x stereo inputs. These channels correspond to the Input Selector on the front of the SPL 2000MP3. The Speaker terminal board consists of Channel A & B outputs with a minimum load impedance of 4 Ohms. The SPL 2000MP3 has a Signal-to-Noise Ratio of 95dB and an Input Impedance of 10kOhms. The Max Output Power @ 4 Ohm is 2x 1000W and Max Output Power @ 8 Ohm is 2x 750W.
