Create sequences, play sounds and shape arrangements using RGB pads, ZEN-Core synthesis, samples and effects. Then, carry the groovebox in a rigid, lightweight case designed for the MC-101.
Build Tracks Anywhere
The four-track sequencer brings recording, sequencing, synthesis, sample playback and effects into one portable workflow. Its TR-REC Step Sequencer and 16 RGB velocity-sensitive pads let you build drum parts, basslines and chord progressions, while 64 clips provide space for arranging ideas across the four tracks.
Shape Sounds and Motion
ZEN-Core combines virtual analog and PCM sound generation with built-in tones, drum kits and phrases. Import user samples from an SD card, combine loops and one-shots, and record automation and motion data for changing effects. Track EQ, multi-effects and master effects give each part and the overall mix room to develop.
Connect and Keep Creating
USB Audio and MIDI, five-pin MIDI In and Out, main outputs and a phones jack make the MC-101 ready for a range of production setups. It can run from USB bus power or AA batteries, so ideas can keep moving away from a fixed desk. SD card storage supports project and audio data.
Protection for the Road
The Magma CTRL Case MC-101 is made to fit the Roland MC-101. Its molded Durashock EVA foam body, water-resistant polyester exterior and convoluted foam interior protect the display, knobs and controls during storage or transport. A mesh compartment organises cables and accessories, while the zipper and carrying handle keep the case practical.
