RODE DC-USB1
The RODE DC-USB1 gives you a USB to DC power cable. Allowing you to easily power your RODECaster Pro from any compatible USB Port. As a result, you’ll no longer need access to AC power to record your podcast. Simply plug the DC-USB1 into your portable power and you’re good to go.
Keep in mind, the DC-USB1 was not designed to be used with your PC or Laptop. So it’s recommended you use a power bank with USB Power Delivery for the best compatibility and results.
On top of that, the duration of charge you’ll get from your portable power source depends on your power bank. Standard powerbanks with a capacity of 10,000mAH can expect up to 8 hours of charge. While that duration is going to be lower if you’re using 48V phantom power across all channels.
There’s also an added locking connector for added security; ensuring your RODECaster Pro won’t come unplugged during important recording!
Above all, as long as you’re using a high powered (2.4A minimum) USB output, the DC-USB1 is a great solution
