Power Dynamics TM370 – Paging Desktop Microphone
The Power Dynamics TM370 is a desktop paging microphone with a gooseneck that is suitable for many types of conferences or meetings. It offers simple connectivity as the gooseneck mounts directly onto the base. For the output, you can use the 3-pin XLR connection on the back of the base. Once connected you can directly connect the TM370 to an amplifier input or mixer input.
Connectivity of the TM370
On the top of the TM370 base is a Microphone Connector. Here you can attach the microphone (gooseneck) to this connector. Just line up the male-female pins and the mic slots in accordingly. You can then screw the locking cap to secure the microphone in place. There is also a simple Talk button that allows you to activate the microphone when you are ready to speak.
The rear of the base includes an included 12V DC power connection that powers the microphone. There are also 2x separate knobs for the Chime and Microphone Volume. These controls offer independent volume controls for both lines. The TM370 utilises a Balanced Out 3-pin XLR output socket for sending the output signal. Finally, a Mix out 6.3mm unbalanced output jack is available.
Simple Operations
In order to begin speaking just press the Talk Button. The button will start to blink and a chime sound will be aired. After the chime sound, the button will light up continuously. The LED lighting ring will also be on to indicate you’re “on-air”. While in this state, you can use the TM370 Microphone to emit speech. Press the button once more to send out a chime sound again. The microphone will be turned off. Both the talk button and LED lighting ring will be off.
Additional Gooseneck Microphones are also available.
