MWM Phase Essentials
The MWM Phase Essentials gives DJs and turntablists a flexible, low-latency, vinyl control solution for every digital platform. So if you’re a DJ who spins with any DVS-compatible DJ platform; you’ll be able to do some with nothing more than Phase Essentials, your choice of software, and set of turntables. Offering a solution that’ll see you DJing without control vinyl or even a needle.
Consisting of a dock and two transmitters, MWM Phase Essentials is placed on top of your records on your decks. Then, the transmitters work as motion sensors that read the motion of the record and transmit it back to the dock. This then connects to your DVS rig via RCA connections and allows you to control your digital tracks just like you would with vinyl. To top it off, because the Phase Essentials doesn’t use a needle, you won’t have to deal with any unwanted issues such as excessive rumble.
Resists feedback and rumble on the loudest stages
So why use the MWM Phase system over traditional control vinyl? Simple, Phase Essentials is completely resistant to needle feedback caused by rumbles on loud stages. Using motion-tracking instead of a traditional needle, the Phase isn’t affected by excessive bass, rumble, stage vibrations, and so on.
Tracks your turntable movements with extreme accuracy
Designed for streamlined use, simply place the Phase transmitters on top of your turntable, and it’ll track even the smallest movements. Sending a control signal wirelessly back to the dock which will be connected to your DVS software. So spin and scratch your records as much as you want, and Phase will track every movement with precision. All with a responsive feel and a record low latency level.
Use DVS without control vinyl — or a needle
Because Phase tracks the motion of your turntables and turns that into a control signal for your DVS software (like Serato DJ Pro, Virtual DJ, Traktor, or rekordbox). You won’t be constrained to using specific control vinyl, you don’t even need a needle. So you can also say goodbye to costly cartridge replacements in the long term.
