Ableton Live Integration

But if you’re not using Live, you’ll be glad to hear that the Launchkey 49 MK3 also offers complete integration with both Logic and Reason. As well as out of the box functionality with DAWs including Studio One, Cubase, and Pro Tools via HUI. Then, if you decide to switch to another DAW, the Launchkey 49 MK3 will always be compatible thanks to its general MIDI capabilities.
Scale Mode, Chord Modes, and Powerful Arpeggiator
Launchkey 49 MK3 features a number of inspirational features including Scale Mode, Chord Modes, and a powerful Arpeggiator. Scale Mode transposes keys and pads played to notes in the scale selected; chord mode lets you trigger complex chords with a single finger; while the powerful arpeggiator lets you explore new melodies quicker than ever. There’s also a mutate function that reconstructs your patterns into exciting new sounds.
Custom Modes
Another great addition to the Launchkey 49 MK3 is the ability to program custom modes. Using the Novation Components browser-based tool, you can really customize the behaviour of your Launchkey. Giving you complete control over assigning your knobs, MIDI routing, pad colours, and so much more.

On top of that, the Launchkey 49 MK3 has a full-size five-pin MIDI DIN output. Giving you the ability to easily connect to your realm of MIDI devices. Now not only does the Launchkey 49 MK3 have standalone potential, but you can also use it as the centrepiece to your live or studio setup.
