The Modal ARGON8M gives you an 8-Voice polyphonic wavetable synthesizer. Coming in a compact desktop module version, you can also mount the ARGON8M onto a 19″ 3U rack using the included rack mounts.
Five years since Modals’ initial 002 synths, the brand has reinvigorated itself with a completely new synthesizer. Taking the sound design capability and functionality of the Modal 002, placing it in an incredibly compact and budget-friendly price point. Providing a class-compliant USB MIDI connection, you’ll have no trouble enabling your Argon8M in an integrated setup. What’s more, ARGON8M comes complete with access to its free software editor available on Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android. You’ll also have access to a range of VST3 and AU plugins for your favourite DAW.
ARGON8M is a powerful synthesizer, packed with opportunities to carefully craft your sound. Including 32 high-resolution wavetable oscillators, 4 per voice, and 8 types of oscillator modifiers. As well as 120 carefully crafted wavetables that have been split into 24 banks of 5 morphable waveform sets and 28 static wavetable processors. It also features three powerful independent and user-configurable FX engines; so you can create sophisticated Delays; Reverbs; Flanging; Phasing; and Choruses.
Housed in a road-ready steel and aluminum chassis, the ARGON8M is ready for everything you’ll throw at it. While the large OLED display and axis joystick make navigation a breeze!
