OD-S – Authentic tube sound
What’s more, the Korg OD-S features the powerful Nu:Tube; a new and revolutionary analog triode vacuum tube by Korg. Giving you the same much-loved sound of a conventional vacuum tube, Nu:Tube is constructed with an anode, grid, and filament. All while operating as a complete triode tube that gives you the same response and harmonic characteristics of a conventional vacuum tube. But in a more compact, stable, and energy-efficient way.
Sonic possibilities
Featuring two gain knobs, the OD-S allows you to adjust the input level (GAIN), as well as the anode load of the vacuum tube (TUBE GAIN). Allowing you to accurately adjust the sound from the vacuum tube to your personal taste
Finally, the OD-S also has a switch that lets you choose between 2 types of overdrive (with low-high ranges). Along with True Bypass that’s a perfect guitar pedal feature if you’re performing live. If you’re an advanced user and want to customize your tone further; the modification-friendly layout allows you to change out discrete components and create your own unique pedal.
