The JBL COL800 Slim Column Loudspeaker delivers wide sound coverage while maintaining controlled vertical dispersion for clear audio throughout a listening area. Its built-in downward aiming design supports flat-wall installation, while the slim enclosure blends neatly into spaces that require both strong performance and a discreet appearance.
Wide Coverage, Focused Aim
Firstly, wide horizontal dispersion reaches across conference rooms, lecture halls, retail spaces, concourses and transit areas. Meanwhile, the narrower vertical pattern keeps coverage more focused. The built-in downward aiming axis is designed to cover most listening areas. Thus, the cabinet itself is not required to be physically tilted down.
Clear Driver Arrangement
Moreover, four racetrack low-frequency drivers handle the lower part of the range. Two tweeters sit near the top of the column to help provide unobstructed coverage through the listening space. Together, this driver layout suits speech, audio for video and fill applications where consistent distribution matters.
Flexible System Connections
Additionally, choose the 8 Ω direct input or select transformer taps of 60W, 30W or 15W at both 70V and 100V; a 7.5W tap is also available at 70V. This gives installers a clear way to match the loudspeaker to the documented system connection and power requirements.
Neat, Adaptable Installation
The shallow cabinet sits close to the wall. The included low-profile swivel/pan/tilt wall bracket provides continuously variable horizontal aiming and adjustable vertical tilt. Two included L-brackets can be positioned on either the top-and-bottom insert points or the side-to-side insert points for another mounting approach.
