Faital Pro HF201 8 Ohm High-Frequency Driver
The Faital Pro HF201 8 Ohm is a professional high-frequency driver for high-performance audio applications. Its 108 dB sensitivity, titanium diaphragm and 0.5 to 18 kHz frequency range give system builders a clearly defined set of performance specifications, while the driver is optimised for use with a 2” 90° x 40° horn.
Built for high-frequency systems
A titanium dome diaphragm and annular phase plug design form the core of this high-frequency driver. The 74 mm voice coil is specified alongside a frequency range of 0.5 to 18 kHz, giving builders clear reference points when planning a system around the driver’s documented response.
High sensitivity and power handling
With sensitivity rated at 108 dB, the driver is suited to designs where strong measured output is an important part of the system brief. Power ratings are specified at different operating points: 100 W AES and 200 W maximum above 0.9 kHz, with a 0.9 kHz minimum crossover frequency.
Horn and mounting details
The product data specifies use with a 2” 90° x 40° horn. Its 50.8 mm throat diameter, 170 mm overall diameter and 66 mm depth give installers the key dimensions needed to check the physical layout, while the four M6 mounting holes use a 102 mm diameter pattern.
Defined construction details
The driver uses a ferrite ring magnet, aluminium winding material and a Kapton former. It also has a 36° conical exit angle and a net weight of 4.6 kg. These clearly stated construction and size details make it easier to assess the unit during system design and installation.
