Faital Pro HF1400 Compression Driver

The Faital Pro HF1400 is a high-sensitivity compression driver for high-frequency loudspeaker builds. It pairs a titanium dome diaphragm with 100 W AES power above 0.9 kHz. Its 35.6 mm (1.4 in) throat diameter, annular phase plug and neodymium ring magnet give builders clear, defined specifications to work from.

High-Sensitivity High-Frequency Output

With 110 dB sensitivity and a 0.5÷18 kHz frequency range, this driver is specified for a broad high-frequency section. The titanium diaphragm uses a dome shape. Meanwhile, the annular phase plug design is clearly defined for enclosure planning and component selection.

Power Ratings for Crossover Planning

Moreover, the HF1400 carries an AES power rating of 100 W above 0.9 kHz, rising to a maximum power rating of 200 W over the same range. It is also rated at 50 W AES and 100 W maximum power above 0.65 kHz. Therefore, giving installers the exact figures needed when setting the crossover.

Defined Physical Layout

Furthermore, the 130.5 mm overall diameter and 55 mm depth provide straightforward measurements for planning the specified mounting layout. Four M6 mounting holes on a 102 mm diameter pattern, a 12° conical exit angle and 2.5 kg net weight complete the essential physical details.

Purpose-Built Driver Construction

A 74 mm voice coil uses Al winding material and a Kapton former, while the diaphragm is titanium. The neodymium ring magnet, 1.95 T flux density and 16 Ohm nominal impedance give system builders a precise set of electrical and construction specifications for their loudspeaker work.
