Faital Pro HF107 8 Ohm, 1-Inch Compression Driver
The Faital Pro HF107 is a high-sensitivity compression driver for loudspeaker projects that need a defined high-frequency component. Its 8 Ohm impedance, 70 W AES power handling and 1.3 kHz minimum crossover frequency give builders clear electrical and crossover figures.
High-Sensitivity Output
Firstly, with sensitivity rated at 109 dB (1W/1m), the HF107 offers a high-sensitivity starting point for loudspeaker design. Its published frequency range extends from 1.3÷20 kHz. Meanwhile, the 140 W maximum power handling figure helps clarify the upper limit stated for the driver.
Annular Diaphragm Construction
Moreover, the driver uses a Ketone Polymer annular diaphragm, a 44 mm voice coil and an annular phase plug design. Al winding material and a Kapton former complete the listed diaphragm assembly. Consequently, giving installers and builders the key construction details needed when selecting and documenting a compression driver.
Installation Dimensions
A 25.4 mm (1 in) throat diameter, 121 mm overall diameter and 75.4 mm depth make the physical envelope easy to check before installation. The 180° mounting pattern uses 2xM6 holes across a 76 mm diameter, while the 2.5 kg net weight adds another useful consideration for the build.
Magnet and Exit Details
A Ferrite Ring magnet and 1.9 T flux density are specified alongside a Combined Exit. The HF107 also has a 0.5 dm^3 net air volume filled by the HF driver, giving the driver’s magnetic, exit and enclosure-related data a clear place in project notes.
