Faital Pro HF106 8 Ohm (Ω), 1-Inch Compression Driver
The Faital Pro HF106 compression driver is built for high-frequency loudspeaker designs. Especially ones that need strong output from a compact 1-inch throat format. Its 110 dB sensitivity, 1.3÷20 kHz frequency range, and 60 W AES power handling give speaker builders clear performance targets.
High Output for High-Frequency Designs
With 110 dB sensitivity (1W/1m), the HF106 can produce substantial output from its rated input level. Its 8 Ohm nominal impedance and 60 W AES power handling make the driver straightforward to assess alongside the rest of a loudspeaker design, while the 120 W maximum power handling adds defined headroom within its stated limits.
Extended High-Frequency Coverage
The 1.3÷20 kHz frequency range covers the high-frequency band, with a 1.3 kHz minimum crossover frequency defining an important design point. That combination gives builders clear guidance when planning crossover settings and matching the driver to a suitable horn or waveguide arrangement.
Focused Internal Construction
A 44 mm voice coil uses an Al winding and Kapton former, while the Ketone Polymer annular diaphragm works with an annular phase plug design. The 2.1 T flux density and Neodymium Ring magnet complete a compact driver structure intended for high-frequency loudspeaker construction.
Compact Mounting Format
The 25.4 mm (1 in) throat diameter suits projects built around a 1-inch compression-driver format. Measuring 95.7 mm in overall diameter and 58.8 mm deep, with 76 mm mounting-hole spacing across 180°, the HF106 offers defined dimensions for enclosure planning and installation work.
