Faital Pro 8HX240 8 Ohm (Ω) 8-Inch Coaxial Loudspeaker
The Faital Pro 8HX240 brings LF and HF reproduction together in a coaxial format, giving speaker designers one clearly defined driver to work around. Its 8Ω sections, neodymium ring magnets, and practical mounting dimensions make it easier to assess electrical requirements and cabinet fit before building.
One Driver, Two Frequency Sections
The LF section covers 70–4,000 Hz, while the HF section extends from 1,200–20,000 Hz. With a 1.7 kHz minimum crossover frequency, the two sections give system designers clear points to consider when planning the crossover and dividing frequency duties between them.
Designed for Clear Coverage Planning
A 100° HF dispersion angle gives a defined figure for estimating how the high-frequency section will spread. The HF section also combines 107 dB sensitivity with a Ketone Polymer annular diaphragm, while the LF section uses a triple roll cone surround and a 1x variable height waves spider profile.
Useful Construction Details for Cabinet Fit
The aluminium LF basket, aluminium ring demodulation, and neodymium ring magnets keep the construction details easy to identify when selecting a driver. A 181 mm baffle cutout diameter, 210 mm bolt circle diameter, and 125.5 mm depth give practical measurements for checking the intended cabinet space.
Power and Parameter Data at a Glance
The LF section is rated for 250 W AES power handling and 500 W maximum power handling, while the HF section is rated at 30 W AES and 60 W maximum. Thiele and small parameters including Fs, Qts, Vas, Sd, and Xmax add the reference data needed for enclosure calculations.
