Build Separate DMX Chains
Instead of fitting every fixture into one daisy chain, each output can begin its own chain of up to 32 DMX fixtures. Multiple D-Split devices can also be connected together, giving DMX-controlled setups more room to grow as additional fixtures are added.
Connect Common DMX Inputs
A single DMX input accepts either 3-pin or 5-pin XLR, making it easier to connect different control hardware. The four XLR 3-pin female outputs replicate the incoming signal, so each branch can be routed towards its own group of fixtures.
Protect the Connected DMX System
The optically isolated DMX512 outputs help protect connected controllers and fixtures from up to 1000V of stray voltage. The unit also repeats and re-buffers one DMX universe, keeping the signal moving across newly separated chains without relying on one long run.
Install It Where You Need It
Built-in mounting points work with the included DIN rail clip for control cabinets, surfaces, or walls. The plastic enclosure weighs 0.16 kg and accepts the included AC adapter or 7 to 24 VDC at 400 mA through its DC barrel power input.
