Digitech DOD Meatbox Subharmonic Synthesizer Pedal
The Digitech DOD Meatbox Subharmonic Synthesizer Pedal goes beyond standard octave effects. It adds powerful low octave and synthesized subharmonic depth to your signal. Dedicated Octave, Sub and Low controls shape the result. Meanwhile, the TRS output gives you separate affected and dry signal routing.
Go Beyond a Standard Octave Effect
The Meatbox combines an octaver with a subharmonic synthesizer. Thus, letting you increase the low octave and synthesized subharmonic content independently. This gives bass-heavy sounds more weight and character, while the dedicated Output Level control lets you adjust the affected signal when the effect is switched on.
Shape the Low End
Deep low frequencies need careful control, so the Low control adjusts the output’s low-frequency content and helps manage extreme lows that could overwhelm an amplifier and speakers. Use the Octave and Sub controls alongside it to find the balance that suits your signal and setup.
Route Dry and Affected Signals
The ¼” TRS output supports simultaneous routing of the affected and dry signals through a TRS Y cable. Tip carries Octave +Sub, Ring carries Dry, and Sleeve is Ground, giving you a clearly defined way to send these signal paths to an amplifier and other effects.
Built for Practical Pedalboard Use
An all-metal chassis gives the pedal a durable physical enclosure, while True Bypass and the crisp blue LED status indicator keep operation straightforward. The footswitch turns the effect on or off, and power comes from a 9V Alkaline Dry Battery or Optional Power Supply.
