Chromateq SLIM 512 Stand-Alone DMX Interface

Chromateq’s SLIM 512 is a compact wall-mounted DMX interface for lighting control, and it can run scenes without a computer. Its 512 stand-alone DMX channels, front-panel buttons and LED display suit permanent indoor installations. In addition, the internal clock and calendar add scheduled playback for hands-off operation.

Run Scenes Without a Computer

Designed for stand-alone use, the interface stores lighting scenes internally and plays them back independently of a computer. Scene options include a default start scene, automatic scene recovery, scene priority and clock control. As a result, installations get a clear way to resume and manage programmed lighting.

Compact Wall-Mounted Control

The extra-thin ABS housing measures 130 mm high, 110 mm wide and 20 mm deep, so it suits wall mounting on indoor surfaces. Mechanical switch buttons and a deep-blue LED display keep essential controls and status information on the front. The housing also comes in White or Black.

Scheduled and Triggered Playback

An internal clock and calendar let users schedule stand-alone scenes by time or date. The SLIM 512 also accepts DMX In, DMX Triggers and DMX Merging. Additionally, smart contacts handle commands such as speed, scene, dimmer, black out and pause for connected control setups.

Ready for Computer-Based Setup

For computer control, the USB to DMX interface works with Windows and Mac OS X systems. The unit also includes an SD Card Expansion Slot for FAT-format cards up to 256 GB, Class 10, plus 8 MB of internal memory for storing stand-alone content.
