Chromateq DIN-E2048 Ethernet to DMX Stand Alone Interface

The Chromateq DIN-E2048 is a DIN rail DMX interface for permanent lighting installations that need broad channel control and dependable standalone operation. It manages four DMX universes, works with Art-Net, sACN, and RDM. It also combines network connectivity with scheduled playback and external trigger options.

Four Universes of DMX Control

With 2048 DMX channels across four universes, the interface gives an installation a clear way to organise extensive lighting control. Art-Net, sACN, and RDM support suits compatible networked workflows. Meanwhile, Ethernet LAN/WLAN connectivity allows the unit to be incorporated into the lighting network using DHCP or static IP addressing.

Playback That Runs Standalone

Moreover, standalone playback with up to five simultaneous scenes/zones lets programmed lighting content run without relying on a live computer connection. The built-in internal clock adds scheduled scene automation. 3K ~ 15K steps, 8 MB of internal memory, and Micro SD support up to 256 GB provide defined options for storing playback data.

Flexible Triggering for Permanent Installations

Furthermore, RS232, UDP, Smart Contacts, DMX IN, and RTC Clock trigger options give the interface several ways to start or control playback. The 12 smart contact triggers are specified as 12 dry contact triggers (3~5V). On the other hand, RS232 input/output adds another connection option for advanced triggering functions.

Built for DIN-Rail Integration

Additionally, designed for DIN rail installation, this compact industrial interface suits permanent control environments where organised mounting matters. Master/slave synchronisation supports up to 32 wired or 128 Ethernet devices. Compatibility with PRO DMX 2, PIXXEM, STUDIO DMX, and LED Player software supports configuration and control workflows.
