Bose Professional CC-1 Black Zone Controller
The Bose ControlCenter CC-1 gives a sound system a simple, local point for zone volume adjustment. Its single front-panel knob provides direct control, while Cat 5 cabling and two RJ-45 connectors connect the controller to compatible Bose Professional FreeSpace, PowerShare, and ControlSpace products.
Simple Local Volume Control
Firstly, the front-panel volume knob lets users adjust zone levels quickly and directly. The controller works with Bose Professional FreeSpace amplifiers, PowerShare amplifiers, and ControlSpace processors, so users can adjust volume without navigating a larger system interface.
Built for Regional Wall Boxes
Moreover, the black controller fits 1-gang electrical boxes in North America, Europe, and Japan. North American and Japanese models support Decora-style wall plate covers, which are not included. The 86 × 86 mm European model includes a finished wall plate.
Practical Networked Connections
Furthermore, Cat 5 cabling, two RJ-45 connectors, and TIA/EIA 568B wiring provide the specified connection format for installation. Cable runs can reach 2000 ft (609 m) to FreeSpace or PowerShare amplifiers. Also, ControlSpace processor distances depend on whether shielded or unshielded cable is used.
Clear Identification and Homerun Wiring
Additionally, each zone controller includes pre-printed labels plus two blanks for custom labeling. Thus, making it easier to identify the control point. For compatible setups, the ControlCenter CV41 4-to-1 converter facilitates homerun wiring of CC-1 controllers. Up to four controllers can be used per ControlSpace processor.
