Audio-Technica LP60X Fully Automatic Belt-Drive Turntable – Black
The Audio-Technica LP60X is a fully automatic belt-drive turntable made for easy vinyl listening at home. Whether you are buying your first record player, getting back into vinyl or adding a turntable to an existing stereo setup, the AT-LP60X keeps things simple without making your records feel like an afterthought.
It plays 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records, includes a built-in switchable phono preamp, and can connect to powered speakers, home stereo systems, computers and other audio equipment. That makes it a practical beginner turntable for anyone who wants to enjoy vinyl without needing a complicated hi-fi setup.
Fully Automatic Turntable for Easy Listening
The LP60X handles the tonearm movement for you, so you can start and stop playback without manually placing the stylus on the record. This makes it especially handy for newer vinyl listeners, shared home setups and anyone who wants a record player that feels relaxed to use.
With two playback speeds, the turntable supports standard 33-1/3 RPM albums and 45 RPM singles. A 45 RPM adapter is included in the box.
Built-In Phono Preamp for Flexible Setup
The built-in switchable phono preamp lets you connect the LP60X to systems with either phono-level or line-level inputs. In plain English, that means it can work with many powered speakers, stereo systems, computers and other compatible audio gear.
If your setup does not have a dedicated phono input, switch the output to line level and connect using the included RCA cable.
Belt-Drive Design with Reduced Resonance
The belt-drive system helps keep motor vibration away from the platter, supporting cleaner playback from your vinyl records. An anti-resonance die-cast aluminium platter adds stability while the record spins.
Audio-Technica has also redesigned the tonearm base and headshell to improve tracking and reduce unwanted resonance compared with earlier LP60 models.
Audio-Technica Cartridge and Replaceable Stylus
The LP60X includes an integral Dual Magnet phono cartridge with a replaceable diamond stylus. This gives you a straightforward listening setup from day one, with the option to replace the stylus when it eventually wears down.
Audio-Technica started in 1962 as a phono cartridge manufacturer, so this part of the turntable has plenty of brand history behind it.
What You Need to Get Started
The LP60X includes a detachable RCA output cable, 45 RPM adapter and removable hinged dust cover. To hear your records, you will still need compatible speakers, headphones or an audio system connected to the turntable.
You can also explore DJ City’s range of turntables, powered speakers and RCA cables if you are building a full vinyl setup.
