Polyphonic Step Sequencer
In terms of the polyphonic step sequencer, the Keystep gives you 8 programmable memories that you can easily recall when you want by simply turning the knob. Allowing you to choose gate times and swing settings instantly, as well as change the feel of your performance on the fly. Not to mention, Keystep also gives you the ability to record, overdub, include and transpose your sequences in real-time. All while still playing the keyboard live.
Inputs & Outputs
If you’re not already convinced the Keystep is one of the best portable controllers on the market; Arturia takes it a step further. Offering a number of useful connectivity options including USB MIDI, MIDI I/O, Clock Sync, and DIN sync, and CV/Gate outputs. As well as a separate, assignable modulation CV output you can use along with the mod wheel, velocity, and aftertouch. Not only that, but the Keystep comes complete with 4 CV/Gate cables; so you can hook up all your synths, modules and drum machines straight out of the box.
Finally & completing the array of innovative features, the Arturia Keystep comes complete with a copy of Ableton Live Lite. Giving you a hands-on workflow, time-stretching and pitch-shifting functions, as well as an endless amount of studio-quality effects.
