What makes the DDJ-FLX2 a great beginner DJ controller is the Smart CFX and Smart Fader, which help new DJs create polished transitions with a lot less guesswork. Smart CFX works with the Performance Pads to trigger complex combinations of effects through simple controls, while Smart Fader automatically adjusts volume, BPM and bass for you as you move the crossfader.
As your confidence grows, the jog wheels, tempo sliders, EQ controls and channel faders provide greater hands-on control. In addition, the Performance Pads control functions such as Hot Cues, Pad FX, Sampler and Loops, so you can experiment with more hands-on mixing techniques.
