The Native Instruments Maschine JAM is a modern digital instrument and studio production controller. Allowing you to capture your ideas and create hit tracks in an intuitive production ecosystem. So sequence and arrange on the fly using the 8×8 multicolour click-pad matrix, shape and perform sounds using the 8 dual-touch Smart Strips, and bring it all together with the power of the included Maschine software.

Keyboard Mode

Using the onboard keyboard mode, the Native Instruments Maschine JAM allows you to easily explore melodies and harmonies. Simply select your scale and chord values to start playing. While the arpeggiator is capable of taking those simple melodies and turning them into intricate melodic patterns.


If you’re looking to build tracks with immediate and intuitive sequencing, the Maschine JAM is your go-to. Allowing you to flesh out your ideas by constructing and re-constructing with patterns on the fly. Then group them as scenes you can arrange from the ground up. You can even quickly import your audio straight from the Maschine JAM into your favourite DAW for further refining.

Note Sequencing

Not only does step sequencing work for rhythms, but also for melodies. Use the Native Instruments Maschine JAM’s powerful piano roll mode and program notes directly using the 8×8 click-pad matrix.
