Focusrite RedNet D16R

The Focusrite RedNet D16R gives you a 1U, 16-Channel AES3 interface that’s perfect for any Dante audio-over-IP network. Boasting network and power supply redundancy, the RedNet D16R is the perfect solution for providing AES3 I/O in a number of critical-path applications; whether its Post Production, Broadcast, Live Sound, or the Recording Studio. Therefore, the RedNet D16R is the ideal choice for bridging between digital consoles, power amplifiers, or any other AES3-equipped audio equipment or Dante network.

RedNet D16R also has SRC (Sample Rate Conversion) on each input pair allowing you to plug-and-play your interface with any AES3 source.

On top of that, you’ll find two rear-panel DB25 connectors wired to the AES59 standard give you 8 pairs of AES3 I/O. While an additional pair of XLR connectors allow flexibility in cabling choice for one pair of I/O. There are also additional RCA connectors so you can connect consumer S/PDIF equipment.

Furthermore, all external audio inputs include sample rate conversion, so you’ll have even less cabling and clocking complexity. Word Clock I/O on BNC connectors allow external devices to clock to RedNet D163. Or alternatively allows the RedNet D16R to act as a network clock grandmaster slaved to external input.

Finally, RedNet D16R power is supplied through a pair of locking IEC power inlets, and network connections are provided with a pair of locking Neutrik etherCON connectors; offering redundant operation as well as daisy chain possibilities.
