Focusrite RedNet A16R
The Focusrite RedNet A16R audio network interface connects to your studio’s network via a single Ethernet cable. Thanks to its top-shelf AD/DA conversion, premium analog circuitry, and jitter-eliminating JetPLL technology; the RedNet A16R sounds amazing, all without any latency. You’ll also benefit from its 119dB of dynamic range at 24-bit/192kHz. As well as the robust connectivity supplied by 16 channels of analog I/O and the expandable power of Dante audio networking. What’s more, the RedNet A16R audio network interface also includes network and power supply redundancy. Ensuring maximum reliability!
RedNet is ideal in any environment where pristine audio and extremely low latency over a network are required. Scalable and versatile, the RedNet A16R allows you to build audio network systems ranging from small applications to large studios with multiple recording spaces. While its also great for live performance venues such as concert halls, houses of worship, stadiums, and arenas.
What’s more, the RedNet A16R uses the Dante protocol to connect to your studio network. Also known as Digital Audio Network Through Ethernet, Dante transmits uncompressed, multichannel digital audio over a standard Ethernet with incredibly low latency. Rather than dealing with bundles of cables, you’ll use a single Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable. So instead of running long cables through your venue, you can use the structure’s existing Ethernet network. So your interface can be anywhere in the building, as long as it’s connected to the network
Above all, the RedNet A16R is ideal for large studios and applications. Making simple work of routing, controlling, and configuring interfaces. With the ability to set numerous functions including preamp gain, reference level, clock source, preferred master clock, sample rate, and so much more.
