Graphic Equalizer

A Graphic Equalizer will help you shape the tone of your sound. Our vast range of graphic equalisers will meet the most demanding sound reinforcement environments.

In an audio equalizer, the input signal is sent to a collection of filters. Each filter passes the portion of the signal and is adjusted using a slide control to boost or cut frequency components. The vertical position of each slider indicates the gain applied at that frequency band.  As a result, the knobs resemble a graph of the equalizer’s response plotted versus frequency. Hence, why it is a called a graphic eq.

An equalizer for professional live sound reinforcement typically has some 25 to 31 bands. This allows for more precise control of feedback problems and equalization of room modes.
